My friend, Darkling, still quotes this back to me. It's a flashback of my earliest computing days.
Why am I thinking about it now? I just read one of her posts. Itwas a really special moment to me. Her blog let me understand her in a way that I hadn't before. I always knew I loved her; she always has been special. Wierd how a post can reverberate through the bonds of friendship like that.
It made me think about how you never really know as much as you think you do about the ones you care most about. But I guess friendship really isn't about knowing EVERYTHING, anyhow. It's creating things that you do know about. Forging ahead, together, into the future.

She begged, Darkling that is, and I came. Think of your blog as a broken down car on the roadway, the Hippo zooms past, turns round, and helps out. The hippo is challenged by your blog, he intends to write more in his response than the initial post has in its.
